Circles are a way for us to have more frequent and intimate Medi Club gatherings. Why? So we can regularly share meditation and go deeper in conversation around the important topics that we don't usually have the space to discuss. We're crafting Circles with the Medi Club special sauce -- blending together modern culture with conscious living to create uniquely powerful social experiences.
We created the circles program based on your feedback -- our community was asking for more frequent medi club gatherings and more time to sink into group discussions. We've heard from member interviews that you crave community where deeper connections occur, where you can be yourself instead of the person you feel like you're supposed to be and where you can explore and breakdown the issues that are preventing you from living a life of fullness.
When we polled our community about the best way to do this, the majority of votes were in favor of smaller, weekly gatherings hosted by members of our community. So we've spent the last 6 months creating a program to do just that
Here's how it works:
1) Circles are 7:00-8:30pm on Wednesdays - time for snacks + music, a group meditation and a break-out discussion that touches on the topics that we cover at Medi Club (group facilitators will lead this process).
2) Each Circle is facilitated by 2-3 members of our community. They've gone through a training process that allows them to facilitate the group meditation and a safe space for conversation (Jonni Pollard worked with each facilitator on the meditation approach)
3) We're asking for a value exchange of $10 per circle - this covers the cost of snacks and 1 part-time team member who is co-ordinating the circles scheduling (facilitators are not paid for this role)
We'll ask for anonymous feedback post Circle so we can continue to improve the experience - your involvement in this way will be truly valuable.
